About Camp Oneida

Oneida Baptist Camp has been involved in the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ and in Christian education since 1950. Since 1951, over 15,000 campers have experienced this awesome place.

Purpose

History of OneidaOur purpose is to teach, witness and bring children, teens, and adults to a place in their lives that Jesus becomes an integral part of their lives -- and that such an experience at camp will produce fruits in their life that result from their decision for Christ.

Camp Composition

Oneida Baptist Camp is located east of Port Dover and south of Hagersville. The camp is owned and operated by three associations of of the Baptist Convention of Ontario and Quebec: Oxford-Brant, Norfolk, and Niagara-Hamilton Associations.

Camp Committee, the general group that oversees and is responsible for the running of Camp Oneida, consists of representatives and Directors from the above sponsoring Associations. Meetings are held on the third Friday of each month except December.

Camp Oneida is a non-profit organization that depends on the support of many volunteers to fullfill it's mandate. We gratefully and humbly acknowledge our volunteer's dedication to Christ and their commitment to Camp Oneida.
