What to Bring to Camp

Coming to Oneida this summer? Here's a list of things to bring with you. (And a few things to leave at home)

What to Bring

  • Bible (we have extras if you do not have one)
  • Sleeping Bag & Pillow
  • Extra Blanket
  • Bug Spray
  • Clothing for Sunny, Rainy, Hot and Cold weather
  • Pajamas
  • Running Shoes
  • Hat and Sun Screen
  • Bathroom Stuff - Toothpaste, Brush, Soap, Shampoo, Towel
  • Notebook, Paper & Pen/Pencil
  • Flashlight
  • Healthcard
  • Remainder of Registration Fee (Total Cost minus deposit)

What to Leave at Home*

  • Electronics: CDs, Discmans, iPods, MP3 players, Video Games, Cellphones, PDAs
  • Food, Pop, Candy (Ants really, really like these things -- don't worry, everyone gets "Tuck" (candy) each day after lunch
  • Magazines, Comic Books
  • Pets
  • Inappropriate Clothing include 2-piece bathing suits
  • Illegal Substances, including cigarettes, Non-prescription drugs (ie. tylenol -- unless given to the nurse at the beginning of camp)
  • Lighters and Fireworks
  • Money (except for registration)

* Camp Oneida will NOT be responsible for any lost/stolen items.
