Merry Christmas Oneida

Give a great gift to Camp Oneida this Christmas!

Oneida is adding trail biking as a 2009 activity and we need funds to purchase 12 bicycles and related equipment.

Sponsor a Bike for $600

We are looking for 12 Churches or Groups who will each sponsor one bike by raising $600 to give to Oneida for Christmas.

We have 7 groups/churches sponsoring a bike so far

A $600 donation buys:

• 1 high-quality trail bike
• 2 helmets (to fit the range of campers)
• 1/12th of the maintenance tools
• 1/12th of spare replacement parts
• 1/12th of a storage shed to be built

How to Raise $600 Dollars

Here's some ideas on how to raise the funds:

• Have a Bike-a-thon and ask people to donate for each kilometre biked (up to a certain limit)
• Instead of eating out or eating alone, pair up with another family, they cook and you donate what a night out would have cost
• Hold a special offering at church
• Have a pot luck fundraiser
• Bake sales
• Within your group, instead of buying gifts for each other, agree to donate that money to a bike
