Projects -- What's new at Oneida

We are constantly upgrading Oneida's facilities and have multiple projects underway.

Here's what's new (or coming soon) at Oneida:

Dining Hall

Our main project for the past few years has been our new Dining Hall which is nearing completion.

Main construction was completed in Spring 2002 and was put into service in Summer 2002. Currently, the upper interior is being completed, then work will begin on the downstairs to provide a facility that can be used year-round.

Thanks to a generous donation, the basement washroom facilities were built during this spring 2008. It is planned to be finished in time for the Fall Rental Season.

New Sleeping Cabin

Our original craft cabin (located next to Field House) is being converted into a winterized cabin to be used for summer camps and year-round.

This cabin includes several bunks, plus washroom facilities.

Nurse's Cabin

We hope to start building a new nurse's cabin in 2009 to replace the current cabin.

It is tentatively planned to be built beside the existing nurse's cabin and be winterized to be used by other groups throughout the year.
